NGOs are extremely important in Bangladesh hence managerial skills are also very important for NGOs to succeed and prosper. The first challenge is to professionalize \u2013 to have the right systems and procedures, ensure that every employee has proper JD & KPIs, and ensure that the vision, mission & core values are there. The next responsibility of the manager is to ensure clarity of job roles of each employee, clarity of specific results that the organization expects from his\/her and clarity wrt how he\/ she will perform the task and within what time. In any NGO, all employees must have passion to serve and make a difference to the society, to the country. It is the role of the manager to ensure that every employee is aligned to the organizational purpose and lives its values. He must lead from the front, be an example to others, and ensure that the organization results are fulfilled.
