Background of Seminar:
In today’s challenging economy, Financial institution’s human resource (HR) organization should be more nimble than ever to respond to constantly changing internal and external pressures. These pressures challenge their ability to achieve operational excellence, improve work force effectiveness, develop future leaders, and capitalize on the growth of emerging markets. It is felt that Bangladesh insurance sector is seriously suffering from human resource challenges with relation to development of skill and proficiency. This realization has led BIPD to organize a day long seminar in collaboration with Birla Institute of Management Technology India.
Objective:
The prime objective of this seminar is to transform human resource into human capital to contribute in the economic development of the country. This seminar aims at making an in depth study of the prevailing scenario and suggest ways and means to improve the productivity of knowledge workers to achieve industry’s goals.
About BIPD:
Bangladesh Institute for Professional Development (BIPD) is an accredited training institute of Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA). It was incorporated in 2015 as a legal entity under the Companies Act. About BIPS:
Bangladesh Insurance Professionals Society is formed under The Societies Regulation Act. It is registered with The Registrar Joint Stock Companies Bangladesh. It is a non-profit, non-government and non-political organization. One of the purposes of formation of this Society is to bring all insurance professionals working for various insurance companies under one umbrella for betterment of insurance industry.
